questions
What makes Grace unique?
Probably the two things that stick out are a) our insistence that the Bible be taken seriously, but also related to life, and b) the fact that we are a big enough church to offer a full-sized program, but small enough that you won't get lost in the crowd.
What kind of a church is Grace?
We're definitely not traditional, and we're not very set in our ways. We like to try new things and believe that change should be the norm in the life of a Christ-follower. But when we talk about change, we're not talking about doctrine. It can't change because the Word of God never does.
Who are the pastors?
Brent Wood is our Interim Lead Pastor. He has been Associate Pastor at Grace since 1997 and has graciously stepped in while we search for a new pastor. The rest of the staff is made up of Allen Mazelin(adults), Kyle Peirpont (youth), Sonya Martinez (children), Kathy Bankston (connection), and Justin Tuttle (worship).
What does Grace believe?
That's easy. The Bible. We believe it to be both accurate and authoritative. Everything that we teach can be solidly supported by Scripture.
What does it mean to have a relationship with Christ?
We often say it's not about religion, but about relationship. And the most important relationship is with Jesus Christ. That relationship begins when a person confesses his sins, asks Christ for forgiveness, and invites Him into his or her life.
What do I need to know before I visit Grace?
First, you can be sure that you will be welcomed. Second, you can be sure that you won't be singled out in any way. Most people who visit a church like to be anonymous at the start, that's fine with us. At the same time, we'll give you the opportunity to let us know if you need something.
What you wear is up to you. Casual is just fine, and probably the most common type of outfit that you will see. And if you are worried about the kids, don't be. They'll find church to be a great experience!
let us know how we can help.
