our history
More than thirty years ago the option of Christian education was not available in the Michiana area. In response to this need, what is now Granger Christian Schools was started in 1972 to fill this void. Grace (Baptist) Church and its members served as the sponsor of the school. Initially, the school, while open to the general public, primarily educated students from the church.
In 1992, Grace Church relocated to Granger, with the school following a few years later. At that time, the school was renamed Granger Christian Schools. With the name change came the commitment to serve the entire Christian community in the area of education.
In 2003, the Family Life and Education Center, which houses Granger Christian Schools, was completed. This allowed for both the elementary and secondary schools to be combined on the same campus.
Today Granger Christian Schools continues to partner with parents to provide quality education for students in grades K-12.
