Serve like a champion for GCS!
Granger families: Do you love football, popcorn, and marching bands? Then win one for the Gipper and join us for ND home football games to work a Notre Dame concession stand! All profits from the stand will go directly back to GCS!
We need 8 workers per game to fill drink and food orders, run registers, and tend hot dog and pretzel steamers. Stands open 1 1/2 hours before the game. Workers must report 2 hours before game time to go through security and ready their station. After the game, volunteers must sweep floors, wipe counters, count the drawers and submit the total. Make no mistake - this can be a lot of work, but also a lot of fun. You're welcome to invite family and friends to work with you, but all workers must be 16 years old. High school students may use this time to count toward their service hours!
Uniform aprons, polos, hats, and name tags will be placed in bins at all of the stands and must be returned with the bin at end of event. All volunteers are expected to wear black slacks or an ankle length skirt and all black (preferably non-slip) shoes. Jeans, capris, yoga pants, leggings, sweat pants, and shorts are not allowed. Volunteers will need a photo ID to check in. If they are a minor, a school ID will be fine.
At this point, we need workers for just one game: (all other games are filled):
Sept. 8 vs. Ball State (3:30 pm kickoff)
Time is short, so email Mary Kane if you are willing to serve or have other questions. Spots should be filled by Tuesday, August 28. Remember, all profits from our concession stand go directly to the school to help us fulfill our mission of educating tomorrow's Christian leaders.
