Please save the date! A family dinner and school meeting will be held Friday, October 12 at 5:30 pm.
The dinner is free to GCS families, but we do ask that you bring an item to share. The school will provide a menu of pulled pork, cornbread and lemonade. If your last name begins with letters A-M, we ask you bring a side dish. If your last name begins with letters N-Z, we ask you to bring a dessert. In addition, we are cognizant that so many in the Southeastern United States are dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Florence. We ask that you bring a canned food item to donate to help those families in need.
After a time of fellowship and food, Mr. Wever will be discussing several important topics during a meeting that begins at 6:45 pm. First among the topics will be discussion of a GCS annual fund, which will help normalize school finances and ideally provide resources to continue to improve the quality of the education students receive at the school. Mr. Wever will also announce details of a new group charged with praying earnestly for the school, as well as share an overview of the Granger Christian School strategic plan.
Please note there is a volleyball game that evening at 6:00 pm as well. It will be a busy night of activity, and God willing, an energizing time of fellowship and sharing.
The school is in need of volunteers for this event to set up, serve, and clean up. If you are able to assist, please call the school office to volunteer or email Mary Kane at email@example.com.
